 Supporting your child

Your child’s school counsellors are developing a variety of ways to support your child during these uniquely complex times. Throughout the development and implementation of remote learning processes, it’s important to remember that we all have the same goal: to support children’s growth and development by working together with patience, kindness, and respect as we all do our best. Source

Because of privacy and access concerns regarding virtual counselling or consultation, the school district is advising that, at this time, school counsellors do not conduct ‘counselling’ meetings with students on on-line platforms. If you do need to access a counsellor for whatever reason, please make first contact by email. Please contact you school counsellor through your school's website or directly by email: FirstName_LastName@sd42.ca.
